Hallockville Museum Farm’s annual Fleece & Fiber Festival, one of the largest fiber arts fairs on Long Island, has been rescheduled to Sunday, May 21, due to the rainy and windy weather forecast for Saturday. The Hallockville Fleece and Fiber Festival is an immersive experience in the life cycle of fiber, from sheep to sweater. The festival will feature dozens of fiber artisans showcasing their talents, demonstrating their traditional crafts and selling their creations. The festival includes sheep and llama shearing, hands-on demonstrations for visitors, special activities for children, and a bake sale. Fleece & Fiber Festival hours will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Sunday. Admission is $10 for persons age 13 and older. Children 12 and under are free. Hallockville Museum Farm is located at 6038 Sound Ave. in Riverhead.
