North Fork Contemporary and Colorful Gardens will present “Growing America: Art in the Hothouse,” a stunning presentation of art and nature showcasing sculptures by 15 East End artists amid the flora at the Colorful Gardens nursery center in Jamesport. The show is a farewell gift to the North Fork community as Colorful Gardens prepares to close its doors for the final time.
Preview Friday September 18, 5-7pm.
The opening reception for “Growing America: Art in the Hothouse” will be Saturday, September 19 from 5–7 p.m. at Colorful Gardens.
The exhibit will be open for viewing Saturdays from 12-4 until October 3. Colorful Gardens, located at 1636 Main Road in Jamesport, is owned by Michele DeVito. The nursery has been serving local gardeners for 34 years.
