Greenport Harbor Brewing Company is hosting an opening reception for self-taught sculptor Tom Mullane on Friday, August 7th from 5-8pm at the 234 Carpenter St., location. Mullane transforms discarded tools and reclaimed metal into whimsical works of art inspired by the marine life and natural beauty of the East End. Each sculpture begins with a single object-a rusty wrench, an abandoned tool, or an overlooked piece of metal-that sparks an idea. The artist cleans, restores, and meticulously welds pieces together, allowing each creation to reveal its own personality. This exhibition celebrates imagination, sustainablity, and the remarkable ablity to transform the discarded into something full of humor, character, and life. Forged With Flame will be on display through September 2026.
