The Sons of the Riverhead American Legion are sponsoring a barbecue to benefit local veterans. The date is Saturday, July 15, 2023, from 4-9 pm at the Riverhead American Legion. Live music by Mean Gene & The Flamethrowers, and Joe Hampton & The Kingpins. Burgers, hotdogs and salads will be served. Tickets are $20, and are available at the American Legion, 89 Hubbard Ave., Riverhead; 631-727-4330.
