Visit the farm and learn more about us!

The open house is a great way to see the farm, learn more about what we offer and special things this season. We also will share some of our prepared foods as well as host free tours. We have a gardening class which is an added fee, but otherwise everything is free of charge for the event!

Schedule of events:

• 10am – 12pm Vegetable Gardening Workshop ($50) SIGN UP HERE
• 11am Free Tour with Fred
• 1pm – Stir fry demo with Fred
• 12pm – 3pm Plant a seed with Children’s educator Jenny and learn about farm camp this summer
• 1pm – 4pm Meet the Herbalist Kayla and purchase her herbal products
• 11-3pm Jamesport Sourdough Bread POPUP and meet the vendor!
• 2pm Free tour with Fred

• Watch a Cooking Demo
  We are back at the wok this year! Join us around lunch time to see Fred Lee himself stir-frying Asian greens and other seasonal veggies. Enjoy a sample as well. We will have other demos in the afternoon as well at our tasting table.

• Free Tours of the Farm
  Join Fred for a tour of the farm to learn about our operation, see how we grow organically, and understand the rich history of our 3rd generation farm. Tours are at 11 am and 2pm and we will meet under the Trees (a sign will be posted). All are welcome who can walk around un uneven ground for an hour’s time.

• Taste our Prepared Products
  We will have individual cups with a taste of some of our different seasonal prepared goodies for you to try! Baked goods, pickled Asparagus, Quinoa Salad, and more.
  *We will also have our favorite sourdough vendors here: Jamesport Sourdough , selling their bread and teaching you about their process.

• Learn about Plant Medicine and Vegetable Gardening
  Our in house herbalist and farm field manager Kayla will be teaching a Vegetable Gardening workshop from 10am – 12pm that you can sign up for here.
  She will be available from 12:30 – 3pm up by the playground so you can learn more about what workshops she will be offering this season. You can also purchase any of her products she makes !

• Plant a Seed – Children can get their hands dirty and plant a seed in a pot to take home! Join Jenny, our farm camp instructor, and learn more about the farm camp and children’s programming that we will be offering this summer!
