Hosted by East End Seaport Museum & Marine Foundation (EESM), the 33rd Annual Greenport Maritime Festival benefits educational programs, museum offerings, and the preservation of Long Beach Bar (Bug) Light. Enjoy classic boat displays, kayak races, music, children’s activities, maritime demonstrations, roving Sea Shanties and of course approximately 100 great vendors that feature hand crafted and unique items. Don’t miss our festive Merfolk parade on Saturday! Grand Marshalls for the 33rd Maritime festival are Elizabeth Peeples & Stefanie Bassett, the co-owners of Little Ram Oyster Co.

The Festival kicks off Friday Sept 23, 2022  with the Land & Sea Gala (5:30 VIP / 6:30 General Admission) at Greenport Yacht & Shipbuilding. With over 25 local craft food  & beverage vendors, live auctions, DJ/dancing and more; the evening will host jubilous mermaids, pirates and sea creatures!

The 2022 Maritime Festival officially opens to the public Saturday, September 24th at 10AM which features local craft food/beverage vendors, food trucks, live music, wine & beer tastings, oyster tastings and more. The Annual Maritime  Parade will begin at 11AM on Saturday the 25­th. Enjoy the march of the Merry Merfolk, local Fire Departments, school organizations, and much more. Events for adults and children will continue through the day. Strolling sea shanties and visiting the Tall Ship Amistad at the East End Seaport Museum located next to the Shelter Island Ferry. 

 

The Festival continues Sunday, September 25th re-opening at 10AM. Sunday highlights a search & rescue demonstration by the USCG, snapper contest for kids, Stony Brook ELIH’s Dream Green fundraiser and much more.
