About
On Sunday May 19th 2024 tens of thousands or distinguished gentlefolk in hundreds of cities worldwide will don their cravats, tweak their moustaches, press their tweed and sit astride their classic and vintage styled motorcycles to raise funds and awareness for men’s health, specially prostate cancer and men’s mental health programs. The NORTH FORK Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is back for the second year in a row and it’s the only one on the East End of Long Island. The day begins at Breezehill Farm at 11am for North Fork Moto Coffee and cider donuts. Then at noon, riders depart for a slow parade to Orient State Park with lunch provided by co-host Little Creek Oysters/The Sunshine Shack. This end-of-ride reception is open to the public (with a donation to the charity) and will include food, beverages, and live music. All funds raised benefit the Movember Foundation.
Movember has been the official partner of The Distinguished Gentlemans Ride since 2016. Both organizations share a simple goal; to unite people and change the face of mens health. Funds raised by the Distinguished Gentlemans Ride help to power Movember’s work across two of the most complex issues facing men around the globe – prostate cancer and mental health.
