Join the Cutchogue-New Suffolk Historical Council & Museums for a conservation and treatment workshop on October 15 at 9:30am to help us restore the Old Burial Ground, Old Burial Ground, 32770 Main Road, (corner of Main Road and Harbor Lane) in Cutchogue. in Cutchogue. Professional preservationists Joel Snodgrass and Zach Studenroth will teach burial stone history, and how to clean, straighten and repair headstones from different historic periods. In the second part, you will put to use what you learned. The workshop is from 9am-(2)3pm and requires pre-registration. Call or text 631-379-7494 or email [email protected] by Oct. 14.
