East End Food will host a Heartsaver CPR with AED Course on Thursday, May 9, 2024 from 10:00am – 12:00pm.
The Heartsaver CPR with AED Course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory agency, or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. The course will be led by an approved provider from the New York State University Police.
The course covers the following topics:
- First aid basics
- Medical emergencies
- Injury emergencies
- Environmental emergencies
- Preventing illness and injury
- Adult CPR and AED use
Location: Stony Brook Southampton Campus, exact building location TBD
Cost: $30/participant. Includes CPR card, certification through the American Heart Association, and course certificate. You will receive an emailed invoice for payment within 1-2 business days following your registration.
