About
Greenport’s Village Cinema is open during the winter once again! The Winter Film Series, curated by Manhattan Film Institute, runs every Saturday from January 11 through May 9 and showcases award-winning movies and classic cinema for kids and adults.
This week, the acclaimed film for adults is the 1967 film Cool Hand Luke. Starring Paul Newman as a ne’er-do-well who finds both respect and infamy during his stint in a Florida prison farm, this classic piece of American cinema is definitely a must see!
The show begins at 7:00. This showtime also includes a Student Short Film and a Post-Film discussion!
All of the screenings will be presented free of charge this winter, though donations are requested. For the full schedule, visit manhattanfilminstitute.com.
