Join CCE Marine for a complimentary educational workshop for all ages on Marine Meadows Eelgrass on Thursday, August 10 from 6-8pm at Strong’s Water Club! Join us to learn more about our local seagrass species, eelgrass, and what Cornell Cooperative Extension Marine Program is doing to help bring back our marine meadows! Participants will also get to learn about our native seahorse species and the important relationship this beloved species has with eelgrass. You’ll also get to take part in a burlap disc making activity that will help CCE experts restore even more eelgrass to our local waters during planting season this fall! Advanced registration is required.
