About

Please join us for a free virtual lecture via Zoom. You’ll hear about how towns of the North Fork used baseball to create identity and community.

Writer and Orient resident Thomas Dyja, curator of last summer’s baseball show at the Oysterponds Historical Society, will take us through this colorful history, with special attention paid to the game’s rich legacy in Southold, always one its strongholds on the North Fork.

The presentation is the second installment in “Fun and Games”, the 2022 Winter Virtual Lecture Series.
