Alex Ferrone Gallery‘s 11th annual Small Works exhibition features art framed 18 inches or smaller portraying windows and doors by regional artists:

Frequently portrayed in art, windows allow us to dream as we sit contemplatively by them looking out. Conversely, they offer intrigue and leave us wanting to peer through them to see what’s inside. Doors can offer opportunities and adventure, or safety, warmth and joy, or fear and all sorts of other emotions as we reach for the handle and the passage that lies beyond.
