Celebrate “America’s Birthday Party” during
an exciting Revolutionary War encampment coming to Southold Historical Museum’s
Maple Lane Campus. The grounds will be transformed into an exciting living
history setting by the reenactors from the Third New York Regiment. The
encampment will have everything soldiers would need as they traveled to join up
with General Washington and his troops.
There will be children’s games inside of the Bayview School House and on
the lawn; a “sing-a-long” of Hamilton in the barn, light refreshments, vendors,
and special demonstrations and food tastings.
