You don’t know what to get that loved one that seems to have everything? Holiday markets to the rescue!

There’s no better way to get in the spirit than shopping for handmade goods, unique pieces or locally created gifts, while listening to live tunes and snacking on sweet treats.

Here are some of the North Fork’s hopping holiday markets:

Third Annual Carriage House Christmas Pop-Up | Cutchogue-New Suffolk Historical Council and Museums, Cutchogue Village Green, Main Road and Cases Lane, Cutchogue, 631-734-7122

Opening for the season on Friday, Nov. 14, and running through Sunday, Dec. 7, visit this pop-up from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Fridays and from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. You’ll find traditional, vintage, Victorian and donated items and more, as well as Christmas teas and treats. All proceeds go to the nonprofit Cutchogue-New Suffolk Historical Council & Museums. 

Holiday Pop-Up | Arni Paperie, 54127 Main Road., Southold, 631-566-1037

On the weekend of Nov. 22-23, visit Arni Paperie from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. for repurposed vintage tableware, holiday specials and cheer.

Holiday Makers Market | Greenport Harbor Brewing Co., 42155 Main Road, Peconic, 631-477-1100

Craft beer, local wine, hot cider, specialty cocktails and delicious eats will be in abundance at the Holiday Makers Market. Purchase art, clothing and jewelry or vintage goods while enjoying live music by Jason Dorsa on Saturday, Nov. 29 from noon to 5 p.m.

Country Parlor Folk Art and Gift Show | Hallockville Museum Farm, 6038 Sound Ave., Riverhead, 631-298-5292

On Friday, Nov. 28 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 29 and 30 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. get your gifting on at the Country Parlor Folk Art and Gift Show in Naugles Barn. Buy handcrafted gifts like pottery, baskets, ornaments; quilted, knit and woven wear; plus artwork and holiday decor made locally.

Havens Holiday Market | Shelter Island History Museum, 16 South Ferry Road, Shelter Island, 631-749-0025

Check off some items from your holiday gift list at this annual event, which happens on Saturday, Nov. 29 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., with vendors, a hot cocoa bar, live music, the SIHS Class of 2028 bake sale and coffee.  

Saint Nicholas Day Fair and Cookie Walk, 26 St. Mary’s Road, Shelter Island

This annual sugar-fueled, feel-good event at Saint Mary’s Episcopal Church on Shelter Island is part craft fair, part baked-good extravaganza. On Saturday, Dec. 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., grab a plastic bag and fill it with the broad assortment of ever-lovin’ from the oven goodies made by Islanders and then munch on them while you peruse the handmade crafts of talented local folks, like wool maven Phyllis Power’s knits and custom, intricate furniture and jewelry boxes from Sean Brewer’s West Neck Woodworking

Holiday Fair | Southold Historical Museum, 970 Peconic Lane, Peconic, 631-765-5500

Hop by the Holiday Fair at Southold Town Recreation Center to celebrate the season while shopping for unique gifts on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Enter the holiday auction for a chance to win gift baskets and grab a snack from the bake sale. See Santa and Mrs. Claus from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Wooden Wonderland Holiday Craft Fair | Suffolk County Historical Society, 300 W. Main St., Riverhead, 631-727-2881

On Saturday, Dec. 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. visit the 13th annual Wooden Wonderland. Among the galleries and stories in the historic building, enjoy live music, live woodworking demonstrations, raffles and arts and crafts gifts for everyone in your life.

Riverhead Holiday Extravaganza, Riverhead Town Hall Campus, West 2nd St. to Railroad Ave., Riverhead

On Saturday, Dec. 6 from 3-8 p.m., visit the East End Merry Market with artists, makers and local vendors as part of Riverhead’s holiday celebration; free entry and parking. The extravaganza includes photos with Santa, free hot chocolate, a community bonfire, a parade of lights at 4:30 p.m. and a tree lighting at 5:30 p.m. Rain date Sunday, Dec. 7. 

Southold Holiday Stroll | Main Road, Downtown Southold

The third annual Southold Holiday Stroll happens from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 12, where shops will be open late with specials, treats, and plenty of holiday cheer. 

The Holiday Market | East Wind Long Island, 5720 Route 25A, Wading River, 631-929-3500

On Saturday, Dec. 13 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., this market in the Grand Ballroom at East Wind offers a vendor village with local artisans and small businesses, a kids corner with crafts and games, nonprofit organizations, holiday drinks and bites, and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. Greenport Holiday Stroll, Greenport Village

Shop, dine and drink as you stroll through Greenport’s downtown on Friday, Dec. 19 from 5-8 p.m. The event starts at the Harbor Front Inn at 209 Front Street and continues at various locations; sponsored by the Harbor Front Inn and the North Fork Art Collective.
