ReWild North Fork will hold their monthly meeting at the New Suffolk Waterfront Meadow at 10 am on Saturday August 10. In case of rain, we will meet at the Vine Church in Southold. Our hosts, the Meadow Mavens, will share how they reclaimed and are managing this restoration in progress. In 2020, an intrepid group of novice gardeners took on the task of clearing the field of mugwort that had taken over the man-hole pocked septic area between the Galley Ho and Community Garden and created a meadow filled with beautiful flowers to attract insects and passersby.
