Alfredo Paredes Shelter Island Shop

This pop-up shop at the Ram Design Home retail spot features high-end furniture by designer Alfredo Paredes, who worked with Ralph Lauren for 33 years in various capacities including chief creative officer. You’ll also find a selection of accessories, fine art and ceramics curated by Ram Design Home owner Cristina Peffer.
Edie’s Gift Shop at The Pridwin

This gift shop, located in the lobby of the newly reopened Pridwin hotel, has shirts, hoodies, pullovers, hats, cups and other gifts, as well as a kids’ section with clothes and summery essentials such as googles, swimmies, fins, sunblock and more. The shop is named after late Pridwin co-owner Edie Petry, and a portrait of her as a young woman hangs on the wall.
The Stand by goldno.8

This unique stand lets customers design their own custom goldno.8 cross-body bag. Owner Ariane Gold, a Shelter Island resident, said she wanted to create an innovative shopping experience with the stand, inspired by farm stands of the East End. It features a QR code that takes customers on a three-step process to choose a reversible bag design and color, strap and optional add-on snaps that add personality. The stand has several design options, and more are available on the website. The bag will then be shipped to customers within 24 hours in a reusable packaging.
