This image shows an aerial view of the Chajnantor Plateau, located at an altitude of 5000 meters in the Chilean Andes, where the array of ALMA antennas is located. The large antennas have a diameter of 12 metres, while 12 smaller antennas with a diameter of 7 metres make up the ALMA Compact Array (ACA). Explore the work of our latest Artists-in-Residence as their open up their studios for the public!

In Process @ The Watermill Center is our ongoing series of open rehearsals, workshops, artist talks, and studio visits that invite the community to engage with the work of our international Artists-in-Residence. The Watermill Center invites audiences of all ages and backgrounds to gain a unique insight into the creative process of artists, cultivating an understanding of how artists from across the globe develop new work.

About The Artists

Paula Aros Gho is a Chilean theater artist formed as actress and theatre director at the University of Chile BA (2002) and MA in Devised Theatre at Dartington College of Arts, England (2007). She is currently directing, writing, and teaching for theater, instances in which she develops interdisciplinary projects based on the notion of performativity with emphasis on process as creative ideology. Her main focus is on the relationship and co-presence between artists and audiences. ​She has presented recognized experimental and interdisciplinary theatre performances, which combine theoretical and field research processes, thus integrating experiences and recordings related to everyday life. Her aim is to create works that involve social habits of linkage between human beings, the environment and the media.

Additional Information

All attendees must be fully vaccinated, and present proof of vaccination during check-in. Those unable to show proof of vaccination will be turned away. For the foreseeable future, unvaccinated children are unable to attend. Masks are required indoors.

Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow for the check-in process.
