Little Fish, set on the doorstep of Kenney’s Beach in Southold, opened in 2023 in what was the old Elbow East space. Since then, owner Arden Gardell has made the space his own, with live music, bright colors and textures, and good vibes all around.

The restaurant is a haven for locally inspired coastal fare — Little Fish is a stylish stop on the Long Island Seafood Cuisine Trail, serving dishes like monkfish tikka masala, swordfish Milanese and fresh ceviche and local oysters.

The creative cocktail menu is also a draw, with selections like a Thai basil daquiri, a classic dark n’ stormy, or a Big Fish rum punch — perfect for cooling off after a day at the beach or while enjoying the sun setting over the Sound.

The restaurant will be serving up tasty bites at this year’s Northforker Wine & Food Classic on Sept. 3 at Borghese Vineyard (17150 County Road 48, Cutchogue, 631-734-5111).
