The North Fork has no shortage of well-loved, wonderful cafes, each offering its own unique, percolating vibe. But for this story, “Coffee Corners: Where to Sip Outside of the North Fork’s Regular Bean Scene,” staff reporter Parker Schug used her investigative skills (and love for caffeine) to hunt down great coffee where you might expect to find it.
I found new java joints to love in this story (who knew the Village Cheese Shop has great cappuccino?!), which is always something I seem to be jonesing for. Also: Doug Young’s gorgeous photos really captured the individual vibe at each of these thoroughly wonderful been scene-stealers. I hope Parker’s story made readers as inspired as I was to try them all out!
