Findings of November Paranormal Ghost Tour
In November 2024, the Long Island Paranormal Investigators led a tour of the Cutchogue-New Suffolk Historical Tour. On March 2 at 2 p.m., the group will share their findings at the Cutchogue-New Suffolk Library (27550 Main Road, Cutchogue). Free to attend.
Greenport Harbor Brewing Co.’s St. Patrick’s Celebration
Greenport Harbor Brewing Co. (42155 Main Road, Peconic) is hosting an all-day party on Sunday, March 16, with classic corned beef and other Irish fare, hot toddies. and Jameson whiskey tasting. This year, the brewery will host a Limerick Contest. GHBC will award $25 to the authors of the winning limerick about beer. To enter, DM the brewery on Instagram with your entry by Friday, March 14. Limericks must contain five lines. In person submissions will take place at 6 p.m. after the band commences. The winning limericks will be announced on St Patrick’s Day.
Pancake Dinner
Who needs king cake when you have pancakes? Queue up for St. Mary’s Episcopal Church’s (26 St. Mary’s Road, Shelter Island) annual pre-Lenten, Mardi Gras-themed pancake dinner on Tuesday, March 4, from 5–7 p.m. This dinner includes a stack o’ pancakes, eggs, hash browns and sausage and as much laissez les bon temps rouler as you can handle. Proceeds go to the local food pantry. Pay what you want (but hey, it’s for a good cause so do the right thing!).

This indoor market runs every Saturday from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. at Twin Fork Beer Co. (807 Raynor Ave., Riverhead) and features fresh produce, foods, artisanal gifts and goods. The market runs through March 29.

An Evening with Emerson, Lake & Palmer
This unique night of music stars Carl Palmer, who, via modern technology, will reunite with his late bandmates Keith Emerson and Greg Lake on Sunday, March 9, at 7 p.m. at The Suffolk (118 E. Main St., Riverhead). The show is presented in cooperation with the estates of Lake and Emerson. $79–$115, with optional VIP Q&A for extra $50.
Charles Gueli – The History of Ice Cream
The Mattituck Park District hosts Charles Gueli of the Mattituck-Laurel Historical Society as he discusses the colorful history of ice cream on Wednesday, March 12, at 6 p.m. This event is free to attend at Veterans Park on Peconic Bay Boulevard at the corner of Bay Avenue.
CAST North Fork Culinary Program 2nd Annual Pop-Up Dinner
On March 14 at 7 p.m., this four-course farm-to-table and Lenz wine pairing dinner will be led by Chef Ryan Carroll of Wild Events, Program Directors Chef David Menjivar, Chef Tess Wonderling, and Chef Ethan Crook, and the students of CAST’s North Fork Culinary Program.
Noises Off
Acclaimed playwright Michael Frayn is at his absolute zaniest in this side-splitting comedy about the behind-the-scenes shenanigans of a traveling theater troupe, opening at North Fork Community Theatre (12700 Sound Ave., Mattituck) from March 14–30. Tickets are $28–$33 depending on seating.
Sparkling Wine Master Class Series: Sparkling Wine and Food Pairing
This special workshop, led by Sparkling Pointe’s (39750 County Road 48, Southold) team of wine experts, focuses on wine and food pairings and takes place at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 29. Guests will enjoy small bites and Sparkling Pointe wines and learn what goes into a pairing. $60/$50 for wine club members.
