The first thing you’ll notice about Rowan Craft Boutique (Feather Hill, Building 11, Suite 2, Southold, 631-452-8506, rowancraftboutique.com) are the delicate aromas from the bevy of soaps, candles and lotions that owner Bunnii Buglione mainly makes herself, a skill she honed making soap for her mother, who has Celiac disease and is sensitive to certain ingredients.
The store, which opened in August 2024, also offers goods and workshops meant to spur creativity and spirituality via an eclectic assortment of items.

Sweet Annie Candle, $14–$34 Buglione crafts candles with essential oils and American soy wax, which melts at body temperature and doubles as a lotion.
Brown Mother of Pearl and Tahitian Pearl Handcrafted Necklace, $90 Customers will see a variety of necklaces made by Buglione’s neighbor Nancy Murphy, of Aquebogue, throughout the store, ranging in price from $15–$200. Murphy sources the beads while traveling.


Birth Chart Readings, $75 Buglione offers Birth Chart Readings and Crystal Assignments. The readings lasts 35 minutes and include a chart reading, healing crystals, a blessing candle and a tarot card pack.
Custom Ceremonial Tomahawk, $250 Falek crafts ceremonial Tomahawks have several meanings based on their design and use; this one represents the beauty of Indigenous art in times of peace. This one is adorned with rabbit fur, a turkey vulture feather, suede, pork sinew and other materials.


Artisanal Apple Cider and Moroccan Vanilla Coconut Oil, Oatmeal, and Shea Butter Soaps, $6 each All of the store’s soaps are created by Buglione and she has 10 different scents available at any given time.
Saint Michael Candle, $8 Saint candles representing a variety of spiritual totems, such as prayer, reverence and gratitude, can be a little way of setting an intention for whatever’s on your mind, like this 16 ounce. seven-day devotional Saint Michael representing spiritual battles.


Watercolor Art Cards, $4 Hallmark, shmallmark. The boutique carries a variety of handmade cards, like this one featuring the watercolor work of Jamesport artist Robin Ziemacki.
Crocheted Handbag, $55 Mattituck native Alice Jones, commonly referred to as the “Bags Lady,” makes everything from scarfs and hats to handbags, like this unlined maroon macrame purse with a black braided handle, gold accents and magnetic closure.
