New Year, new winter restaurant deals! It’s the first installment of the famed (and quite popular) Long Island Restaurant Week for 2025, and it’s kicking off this weekend on the East End. Beginning on Sunday Jan. 26 and continuing through the following Sunday, Feb. 2, this eight-day long winter installment of the tri-annual event sees restaurants across both North and South forks offering exceptional deals in the form of either a three-course or two-course prix fixe.
And this round, there are bunch of popular spots have returned, and some that are new to Restaurant Week, so take note! Seats tend to fill up fast (and note: on Saturday nights the prix fixe is only offered until 7 p.m.), so book your rezzie with clamoring crowds in mind (aka, ahead of time!). Here’s what you can expect at an East End resto near you:

Pete’s Taverna, 3225 Sound Ave., Riverhead, 631-318-9600

Now, as Pete’s Taverna, the space has been re-imagined as a comforting Italian-skewed affair, with awesome options like raw bar and hot clam dip to start, pub style faves, and meatier mains like Greek-style lamb chops and a 14 oz. pork chop we dare you finish.
