Calling all college basketball fans: “March Madness” is coming to Corey Creek Tap Room.
Beginning March 16, games will stream live on TVs throughout the tasting room from noon to 5 p.m., Thursdays through Sundays all tournament long. The event will also feature a weekly rotating “March Madness Flight,” and guests will receive a raffle entry for each flight purchased for a chance to win a case of wine when the tourney wraps up in mid-April.
There will also be a chance for guests to vote on their favorite wine from each week’s flight, with the winning wine announced alongside the raffle results.
“I came up with the idea to increase guest interaction, so they can not only cheer for their favorite basketball team but also their favorite wine,” said Rachel Sunday, the tap room’s manager. “Each time a March Madness flight is purchased, a vote is cast for the favorite wine of the week. Additionally, the guests can guess a team winner for the 2023 NCAA National Championship, the winner will receive a grand prize.”
This is the first sports-themed event to be held at Corey Creek, and the organizers are excited to host more throughout the year.
“We offer both beer and wine, so we have something for everyone,” Sunday said. ” I am excited to bring new events to the Tap Room for the upcoming season.”
