Two u-picks in one day? Lewin Farms has you covered. Visit the farm for apple and pumpkin picking. Depending on the weather, you may also be able to harvest eggplant too. Now that’s a day well spent!

4. SUNFLOWERS AND PIES at Andrews Family Farm

The sweetest farm includes a stand full of flowers including field-cut sunflowers, perfect to brighten up your day. Their freshly baked pies are reason alone to visit.

5. PLAYGROUNDS at Rottkamp’s Fox Hollow Farm

After hours of pumpkin picking and photo ops reward the crew with a little time on this farm’s wooden play structures. Let them get all of their energy out climbing on a firetruck, helicopter, and tractor before hopping back in the car.

6. THE BEST COFFEE CAKE at Helen’s Flower Farm

Yup, we said it. In addition to u-pick pumpkins, pies, flowers, produce, and playgrounds this farmstand has the very best coffee cake you’ll ever eat.

7. GIANT CHECKERS at Breitenbach Farms

Test your checkers skills at this U-pick pumpkin patch. In addition to a snack shack and hayrides, this farm has giant checkerboards played with tiny pumpkins, of course.

A little something for the adults. Harbes Family Farm in Mattituck offers tons for the kiddos, but it lands on our list for the wine barn, which makes the day a bit more enjoyable.
