2. The Ice Cream Patch at Patty’s Berries and Bunches 

Farm to cone is officially a thing, with flavors like mint chocolate chip, corn on the cone, peachy patty and lavender using homegrown ingredients. Try the basil with a hint of lemon for a totally unexpected treat.

Handmade with the farm’s own eggs, this creamy frozen custard is not to be missed while shopping at the Cutchogue farm store.

Okay, okay, we know this is the furthest thing from homemade ice cream or specialty gelato, but this spot is a must if you’re “in town” with kids in tow.
