On Wednesday, June 10, almost exactly three months to the day the first case of COVID-19 was reported in Suffolk County, local restaurants and tasting rooms were again allowed to seat customers for outdoor dining.
The restaurants must adapt to new guidelines. Tables must be six-feet apart and servers must wear masks. So, too, must customers if they’re away from their table.
Each establishment is operating a little differently from each other and how they might normally conduct business. For some, that means a takeout window with no wait staff. For others, you might be asked to order ahead and only take a seat once ordering or as your food is ready.
We strongly urge you to check out each restaurants website and social media accounts or to call ahead before just showing up to make sure you’re helping them stay within the parameters they’re operating within.
Keep checking back as we will continue to update this list in the days and weeks ahead. And remember to check with each place for more specific details.
