It was all about oysters Sunday at Greenport Harbor Brewing Co. on Carpenter Street.
The 7th annual Oyster Festival ushered in autumn on the North Fork, raising a glass to local bounty. As is tradition, the afternoon featured the unveiling of the brewery’s Oyster Stout, made with oysters from Little Creek Oyster Farm & Market.
Little Creek was also shucking oysters at the event along with nine other local oyster farms, including Southold Bay Oysters, Peconic Pearls and Cornell Oysters, to name a few.
Event-goers also enjoyed an oyster-shucking competition, live music provided by the Rusty Spur Band from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and a food truck.
