Dogs of all shapes, sizes and skill levels leapt from a dock to a pool at Greenport Harbor Brewery in Peconic this weekend for an annual event and a good cause.
A portion of the proceeds from the third Dog Dock Diving Weekend will be donated to VetDogs of America, an organization providing service dogs for veterans, active duty service members and first responders with disabilities.
The event was spread out over two days as one by one, dogs, including some who are trained to dock dive, took their turn at glory and a refreshing dip.
The brewery co-hosts the annual event with a number of sponsors, including Harbor Pet in Greenport.
