Thanksgiving is next week and while I won’t tell you want you should drink — those sorts of stories annoy me every single year — I will tell you something you could drink. And something you’ll definitely enjoy.

This week’s Wine of the Week, Bedell Cellars 2017 Taste Rosé ($18), is exactly the kind of wine that I personally enjoy with the myriad flavors on a Thanksgiving table.

A blend of merlot, cabernet franc, syrah and cabernet sauvignon, it has nice fruit flavors — mostly cherry and some red raspberry — with a subtle herbal, savory edge that really makes it great with food. And at 11 percent ABV, you can drink a few glasses with your family without falling asleep in your pumpkin pie.

At $18, you can serve several people affordably to boot.
