Santa Claus sure has a full dance card in December — he’ll be appearing at more than a dozen places on the North Fork alone.

Here is a list of places to spot the big man in red this holiday season.

Saturday, December 6

Pet Photo with Santa

Greenport Christmas Tree Lighting

Tree lighting and decorating with Santa, elves and caroling.

Featuring guided tours of decorated historic homes, antique toys, seasonal music, traditional crafts, children’s activities and Santa Claus. Admission fees include all activities and traditional seasonal treats. Adults, $8; children ages 6-12, $4; age 5 and under, free. Two adults with two children: $15.

Riverhead Christmas Parade
1 p.m.
Begins on West Main Street at Osborn Ave. Children may visit with Santa at parade’s end and have their picture taken. Sponsored by Riverhead Lions Club.

Holiday Open House
2-5 p.m.
Shelter Island Historical Society
16 South Ferry Road, Shelter Island
Kids’ craft activities, holiday shopping, refreshments and a visit from Santa. Free. Family friendly and open to all.

Saturday, December 13

Holiday Bonfire
4 p.m.
Peconic Riverfront, Riverhead
An old-fashioned bonfire, hot cocoa, caroling and tree lighting. Santa will arrive by boat at 5 p.m.

Christmas in Cutchogue
9:30 a.m.
Magic show at the Cutchogue Firehouse followed by Santa arriving by helicopter. Santa then proceeds to the Cutchogue New Suffolk Library for pictures with the children who will receive small gifts. Sponsored by the North Fork Chamber of Commerce.

Friday, December 19

A Holiday Celebration
6 p.m.
Brecknock Hall, Peconic Landing
1 Brecknock Road, Greenport
Visit with Santa and enjoy holiday cookie decorating, caroling, hot cider and a live reading of ‘Twas the Night before Christmas. Caroling by students from Greenport High School. Free. To reserve seating, or call (631) 477-blue.

Breakfast with Santa
Seatings at 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m.

Long Island Aquarium
