Sunday Scene: Taking flight at Town Beach

This week’s Sunday scene was shot at Town Beach in Southold. 

While the photo may seem inviting, the six Southold Town beaches won’t officially open to the public for two more weeks. Opening day is set for Saturday, June 28.

Resident parking permits can be purchased at the Town Clerk’s Office for $10 per vehicle and guests can purchase permits for $40 per vehicle.

Seasonal beach parking permits for non-residents are $150 per vehicle.

These permits may be purchased at the Town Clerk’s Office from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Permits may also be purchased at Town Beach, Norman E. Klipp Park, or New Suffolk Beach from beach attendants from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Town Beach is located at 53005 Route 48 in Southold.
