Anyone who has $100,000 burning a hole in their pocket and is looking for a deal on a cigarette boat is in luck.This bright yellow beauty was seen parked alongside Route 48 in Mattituck, right next to the Strawberry Festival fairgrounds on Saturday morning.
The 44 foot 2006 Hustler has just 39 hours of sailing on its odometer, said Jim Pape of Mattituck Inlet Marina Shipyards & Yacht Sales (MIMS), who is selling the boat. It retails for more than $400,000, he said.
He is asking $99,000.
It’s not every day you see a boat for sale with a price tag that is more than the value of some people’s homes which is probably why Pape proclaims it is “for real” on the for sale sign.
And it seems the Hustler has already gotten a few bites.
“I’m at the deli getting a cup of coffee right now and people are looking at it,” he said.
