You should try: Muffins at Duffy’s Deli

Duffy’s Deli, with locations in Jamesport and Riverhead, knows a thing or two about being a great deli. 

Just when I thought the growler filling station and the killer sandwich board couldn’t make this place any better, I tried the muffins at their Jamesport spot.

Now muffins aren’t something I ordinarily buy, and eating cake for breakfast isn’t something I like to broadcast in public. But the blueberry muffins they’re serving up have me screaming from the countertops for you to try them.

Catch them at the right time and they’ll have a bunch of trays of muffins lined up perfectly behind the cash register. Other flavors include banana nut, bran and cornbread.

It’s a perfect a.m. pick-me-up when you don’t have time for eggs.
