Hold out your glass for another pour of rosé as the Long Island Wine Council’s annual Harvest East End event returns this summer.
This year’s gala, dubbed “Back to Our Roots,” is set for Saturday, Aug. 5.
Harvest East End, which usually features tastes from upwards of 30 Long Island wine producers, is the Wine Council’s biggest event of the year and traditionally honors longtime contributors to the Long Island wine industry.
While that will continue in 2017, guests can expect something slightly different this year.(more…)

The Harvest East End wine and food classic at McCall Wines in Cutchogue on Aug. 24 was another beautiful celebration of Long Island wine and food. It was attended by some 1,300 people who came to raise their glasses to the wineries and restaurants of the East End. Forty-three wineries and 34 chefs provided the food and wine. (more…)

As part of the Long Island Wine Council’s ongoing celebration of the local wine region’s 40th anniversary, Harvest East End, the area’s premier tasting event, was held Saturday night in Cutchogue. The event, organized by the wine council and sponsored by Wine Enthusiast magazine with support from Merliance, the Long Island Merlot Alliance, took place at McCall Vineyards. (more…)
