I’M STILL HERE

Long considered one of Stephen Sondheim’s masterworks, North Fork Community Theatre’s spring musical production, “Follies,” tells the story of the Weismann Girls, a group of performers who meet at an old Broadway theater that’s about to be demolished. They recall the theater’s glory days — and their younger selves — as they sing and dance to memories of the past. Known for its show tune standards like “I’m Still Here,” “Could I Leave You” and “Losing My Mind,” the musical originally ran on Broadway in 1971. North Fork Community Theatre (12700 Old Sound Ave., Mattituck) will run their version from May 16 to June 2. Visit nfct.com for more information and to buy tickets.
