Attention kayaking dog lovers. This Saturday (June 8), Paddle For Paws, an event by the Group for the East End will feature kayaking in the Peconic Bay and a poolside BBQ at Port of Egypt Marina in Southold.
The paddle starts and ends at Port of Egypt Marina, and participants can either rent a kayak or bring their own. Dogs with up-to-date shots are welcome to come along.
The proceeds will benefit the North Fork Animal Welfare League as well as the Group for the East End’s environmental education programs.
Pricing and schedule:
Single kayak rental & BBQ: $55
Double kayak rental & BBQ: $75
BBQ only (bring your own kayak): $15
4pm: Check in
4:15: on the water
5:30: BBQ
7pm: event concludes
