Ten years ago tomorrow (Friday, June 28), the Vail-Leavitt Music Hall reopened its doors after undergoing various renovations and restorations throughout the 90s.

To celebrate the anniversary of its grand reopening, the venue will host a live music show featuring the Sunnyland Jazz Band and the band Who Are Those Guys. The show is at 8 p.m. on Friday and costs $12 in advance and $15 at the door.

Though the Vail-Leavitt  reopened ten years ago, it was  first established in 1881, modeled after the Ford Theater in Washington DC. The theater has a very long and rich history, and the entire story can be read on the building’s website.

For more information or to purchase tickets for Friday’s show visit the website or call (631) 727-5782.
