For the most part, it’s been a rather gloomy past two weeks. Snow. Rain. Cold. More snow. Repeat.

And sure, we can’t wait for the summer to come.

But let us not forget: the North Fork still remains a beautiful place, even among the cold, snow and ice. In fact, sometimes all that makes the area even more pretty. And luckily, we have Instagram and Flickr to prove it.

I thought I had writers block, but then I started thinking, hmmm, what is it that you love to do during the winter out here on the North Fork?

Cooking and reading were my first thoughts, then again, I love to do both no matter what the weather, (BTW I do talk to myself and quite often, it’s out loud). Then I realized there are some really great classes that one can take to either enhance their abilities or flat out become an expert. (more…)
