It’s been almost a year since we launched our weekly column “What’s For Lunch,” where we profile all the delicious mid-day meals available on the North Fork.

That’s why the little nook on the far left wall of The Market Whole Foods & Supplements Café in Greenport — with crates of books and an adorable play kitchenette — is a welcome surprise for anyone looking for a filling, organic and wholesome meal for themselves and their little ones. (more…)

Restaurants and health food stores across the North Fork say gluten-free foods are in high demand.
