Come meet people, exchange recipes and enjoy the day in Orient at Oysterponds Historical Society’s first-ever Cookbook Swap set for later this month.
Here’s the idea: Participants bring one or more cookbooks they no longer use and are willing to give away. They drop them off and leave with a new cookbook, free of charge.
“We wanted to bring in more people to the historical society who might not know about us,” said Karen Haley, an administrative assistant for the historical society. (more…)
