Workshop at The North Fork Shack in Southold
I love to paint lansdscapes with sailboats in them. So often I’m on the beach, here on the North Fork, and one sails into view. Making the perfect accent for my coastal landscapes.
Come learn about my process for painting the boats and landscapes too. Bring your own sailboat reference if you choose!
I will share a few of my watercolor techniques with you. You will learn how to sketch the piece, mix the paints, play with wet on wet techniques, dry on wet and dry brush. We will experiment with layering the paint to create the piece and add details.
You will experience the magic world of watercolor. Create a 5′ x 7″ painting of your own to take home and frame. All levels of experience welcome. I love to work with beginners!
