Long Island Cares Veterans Project and the Southold American Legion
Griswold-Terry-Glover Post 803 and its Auxiliary are teaming-up to host a
Veterans Resource Fair and Food Distribution on Saturday, May 2 from 10 a.m. to
2 p.m. at the Southold American Legion Post at 51655 Main Road (Route 25). The
event will feature more than 25 Long Island organizations that offer services
and programs specifically for veterans and active military personnel. In
addition, Long Island Cares Veterans Project will distribute free fresh produce
to veterans provided by the Long Island Cares Farm Truck and a free brown bag
lunch will be offered to the first 200 vets in attendance. Admission to the
Veterans Resource Fair is free and open to all veterans and active military.
Individuals planning to attend are asked to register in advance by phoning
Justin at 631-583-3663 ext. 151, however, walk-ins will be welcome.
