THE CAVE OF
ADULLAM directed by Academy-Award nominee Laura Checkoway and produced by
renowned actor Laurence Fishburne, is the heartwarming story of Jason Wilson, a
martial arts sensei who runs the Cave of Adullam Transformational Training
Academy in the heart of Detroit for at-risk black youths. Where emotional
well-being is prioritized over athletic prowess, Jason is more than a martial
arts sensei. Through his blend of compassion and tough love he guides fragile
youths on a path to becoming whole and healthy adults. Living by his mantra “
it’s easier to raise boys than repair broken men,” Jason’ s mentorship is a
testament to the healing power of love.
