Buff up your “Little Deuce Coupe” and head to the Southold American
Legion Griswold Terry Glover Post 803 for its annual Car Show on Sunday, August
28 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the grounds of the American Legion, 51655
Main Rd. in Southold. Automobile
collectors and restorers and motorcycle enthusiasts are invited to show their
antique, classic and hotrod vehicles and compete for the People’s Choice Award. Vehicle entry fee is $20. The public is invited to enjoy the exhibit and all the festivities for free, but donations will be accepted gratefully. The Car
Show will include live music by the New York Vendettas, vendors, a food truck, raffles,
and representatives of Veterans Affairs from Northport will be on hand to share
information and answer questions.
