In this interactive clinic, students learn the process of songwriting and song structure. With the instructor’s support, students choose the strongest lyrics and develop a melody and chorus. A voice memo recording, lead sheet and lyric sheet are created in the course.
About the Teacher:
Ian Gottschalk, also known as Perry Bancs, is a Berklee College of Music alumni with songwriting and production credits spanning from Kid Cudi, The Backstreet Boys, The Chainsmokers, and Benny the Butcher. Ian is a frequent music collaborator with Grammy winning producer Anthony Kilhoffer and has many years of studio experience across many genres.
