In its second concert of the 2024 season, Shelter Island Friends of Music presents violinist Tim Kliphuis and guitarist Jimmy Grant on Saturday, March 2 at 3 pm at the Shelter Island Presbyterian Church.
Tim Kliphuis and Jimmy Grant will be recreating the hot gypsy jazz sounds of the famed musical duo, Stéphane Grappelli and Django Reinhardt, as well as classical music from Bach and Paganini.
Admission is free; donations are appreciated.
A reception with the musicians follows the concert.
