Riverhead Free Library has been selected as a beneficiary of Stop & Shop’s Community Bag Program for the month of December. For every $2.50 reusable Community Bag purchased at the Stop & Shop located at 1615 Old Country Road in Riverhead, the library will receive a $1 donation. The program supports local non-profits while encouraging the use of environmentally friendly, reusable bags.
Funds raised through this initiative will support Riverhead Free Library’s ongoing programs and services for the community. Each bag purchased in December makes a positive impact, helping both the environment and the library.
