About

Explore an improvisational approach to printmaking with monotype –which are one-of-a-kind prints made with inks applied to the surface of a plate.

Working with non-toxic soy-based Akua inks and plastic plates, learn how to mix, modify, and use the inks for layering with various viscosities, combined with wood cut, to create unique prints. The monotype process is well-suited for developing ideas as you work with the process, and as always, pulling prints off the press will be a wonderful surprise!

This 2-day workshop is suitable for artists with any degree of experience with printmaking.  Includes all materials and lunch by the bay.
