For the second year in a row, an exciting vintage baseball contest between the powerful visiting NY Mutuals Baseball Club and an imposing assembled squad of Oysterponds hard-ballers will take place on the storied Oysterponds Elementary School Ball Grounds. A large and partisan crowd, primed to cheer on their hometown hardball heroes, is expected. Admission is FREE!
The NY Mutuals Baseball Club fields a team in authentic replica uniforms and plays an actual nine-inning game using replica equipment.
Following the game, they’ll give the kids in the audience a chance to play and swing a bat in a game called rounders.
